5-D Systems, Inc. a KRATOS company, is seeking a highly motivated candidate to fill a Logistics Technician position. The Logistics Technician will support the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS) team in the maintainability, accountability, emplacement/displacement (setup/teardown) and movement of the major end items (MEIs) of equipment. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Support equipment transportability in all facets of the acquisition lifecycle by assisting the Government Lead/coordinator in processing and tracking of MEI and ancillary equipment with Government Bills of Lading (GBL), shipping and inventory documentation of major equipment and small package shipments
- Assist with material release (MR) and type classification (TC) processes and provide recommendations for risk management
- Assist in training personnel on March Order and Emplacement procedures for a command, control and communication systems to include but not limited to system wiring, power and environmental control configuration constructs, and antenna assemblies
- Assist in coordination for and processing procedures to request NSNs.
- Assist with MEI inventories, Technical Data Package reviews, preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS), repair part identification, and logistics product documentation reviews
- Responding to the logistics domains of maintenance, technical manuals, training, system testing and fielding, and Human System Integration (HSI)
A successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of initiative and being a team player in a small team environment as well as excellent communication skills.

Required Experience:
Basic Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen
- Candidate must have a Secret security clearance
- 2-10 years of relevant experience in Army Air and Missile Defense Systems, property accountability/responsibility, inventory procedures, operator maintenance, type classification and/or material fielding
Other Qualifications
- Must be qualified to drive wheeled vehicles with towed equipment
- Must be able to lift weights IAW MIL-STD-1472, generally 56 lbs 5 ft above the floor, 87 lbs 3 ft above the floor, and carry 82 lbs 33 ft or less
- Must be able to support travel activities for field missions, materiel fielding events, and work in outdoor and sometimes harsh environments for extended periods of time
- Must be willing to work overtime as required with little warning in order to ensure mission success
