SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist II to join the College Recruiting team. The College Recruiting and Student Programs team is a fast-growing function that engages, inspires, and recruits the next generation of leaders into the company. The College Recruiting Talent Acquisition Specialist position will focus on developing best-in-class strategies that result in the recruitment of superior, early career talent. This role will focus primarily on the execution of our college recruiting efforts, ensuring a unified company-wide strategy that supports the needs of our growing business. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategically recruit talent in accordance with business-defined talent goals.
- Execute campus recruiting activities to hire intern students. This includes:
- Shape and execute college recruitment strategies that support the organization's evolving talent and growth objectives.
- Conduct strategy kick-off meetings with leaders and maintain communication through ongoing touch base meetings throughout the recruiting season.
- Manage Customer Relationship (CRM) and Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Conduct strategic sourcing, resume screening, phone screening and in-person/virtual interviews
- Offer creation for intern hires
- Training employees who engage and interview prospective intern and full-time candidates
- Managing candidates throughout the recruiting life cycle and maintaining records in the applicant tracking system
- Partner with business leadership to place students on project sites
- Complete onboarding activities for new hires
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across recruiting systems and throughout all steps of the campus recruiting process.
- Develop strong relationships with internal partners, across the organization at all levels.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, legal developments, technological advancements and competitive benchmarking.
- Perform relevant job duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
- Minimum six years recruiting/HR experience or a combination of higher education and experience
- Previous college recruiting experience is highly preferred
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Strong communications skills, with emphasis on interpersonal communication and client/ customer service
- Ability to handle a variety of projects while meeting deadlines

The base pay range for this role is $77,500 MIN - $116,300 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
