Manager, Material Sales

This position is to manage the day to day activities and strategic parts sales, manage the crate shop, coordinate parts movement, and shipping of parts. This position will report directly to the Director of Component Repair, Overhaul, and Manufacturing.

What you will do:

• Supervise customer sales/service representatives
• Coordinate the movement and shipment of parts
• Coordinate with accounting credit approvals and credit limits
• Coordinate with material management the scrapping of parts
• Create, market, and sell parts packages
• Coordinate with the Quality Control Manager, the Aviation Suppliers Association, and Stores Supervisor our ASA Accreditation.
• Travel for trade conferences and customer visits
• Manage repair activity of unserviceable units
• Manage crate shop

Required Job Skills:

• 5 Years in Sales and Marketing with 5 years supervisory, or 10 years work experience in a sales supervisory position.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products. Such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience in various web based sites utilized in sales such as AD-0056, ATA Spec 106.
• Profession appearance & dress.
• Willingness to travel 2-10 business trips per year for either customer visits or various trade show conferences.

Preferred Job Skills:

• Bachelor of Science in Sales or Marketing
• 5-10 Years in aviation parts sales experience
• 5-10 Years in aviation sales supervisory experience
• Previous quality certification experience
