About the Role:

As a seasonal entry-level Environmental Technician, you will support environmental field investigations and hazardous materials assessments under the guidance of senior staff. This entry-level role involves hands-on fieldwork, including sampling of various environmental media, and assisting with data collection and reporting. You will also be responsible for maintaining and calibrating field equipment, ensuring it is clean and operational. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain foundational experience in environmental science while contributing to meaningful environmental protection and compliance efforts.



  • Field Sampling: Collect soil, groundwater, surface water, and sediment samples following standard procedures.
  • Environmental Surveys: Assist with wetland delineations, stream classifications, and identification of local plants and animals.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean, maintain, and calibrate field equipment to ensure accurate data collection.
  • Data Support: Record field observations and assist with basic reporting and data entry under supervision.



About You:



  • You have a High School diploma/GED
  • You have 0-2 years of related field experience
  • You have effective communication, both verbally and in writing



Are You Willing and Able to:

Perform the physical demands of the position with the use of company-provided Personal Protective Equipment such as:



  • Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Walking over rough, uneven terrain and standing for potentially up to 12 hours a day
  • Routinely lifting and carrying 40-50lbs (field/laboratory samples and equipment)
  • Maneuvering field equipment safely, such as a loaded wheelbarrow, on uneven ground around active construction sites
