The Leadership Effectiveness Manager collaborates with Talent Development Director and talent team to develop performance advisors and partner coaches as they drive the performance of their advisees/owners. Oversees program leadership and leadership development efforts, increasing leadership capabilities for managers, senior managers/directors as they grow in their career.

Job responsibilities:

  • Create and execute strategic, multi-year maturity models that facilitate leader development with both enterprise and line of business-specific solutions.
  • Operate as an integrated talent team with strong partnerships across HR and the business to identify priority leader skills, aligning strategic plans to fit the needs of the business.
  • Responsible for overall strategy, planning, program management, execution, and measurement of expected outcomes.
  • Emphasize continuous skill development, identifying where we need improvements, executing on changes, and gaining feedback for iterative improvement.
  • Understand and align development solutions to priority leadership development topics, aligning when needed to relevant performance management annual cycle (goal setting, midyear reviews, yearend reviews, compensation discussions, required training, etc).
  • Design, implement, and facilitate end-to-end learning and development solutions to ensure participants have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to drive performance.
  • Collaborate across communications, talent operations, HR field, coaching center of excellence, inclusion team, and line of business leaders for integrated sessions.
  • Create and execute communities of practice to deepen skill building.
  • Manage operational processes and execute session logistics.
  • Provide resources, streamlining content to make it easy to access.
  • Measure success by establishing and evaluating expected outcomes and level of impact to the firm.

Experience required:

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • The candidate must have leadership development or applicable talent mgmt. experience, with professional services experience preferred.
  • Experience with talent management performance cycles and a leader's role in driving performance, performance assessments, compensation conversations, etc.
  • The individual needs to have experience managing enterprise programs and be a skilled project manager with a heavy emphasis on stakeholder management.
  • Ability to flex and adapt solutions to meet differing line of business needs.
  • Experience with leading a team, with preferred experience having led a formal team.
  • Must be an experienced facilitator.
  • Strong collaborator, understanding that solutions are influenced and designed through matrixed relationships.
  • Ability to create and facilitate solutions for all levels, flexing style and approach to relate to entry level through owner.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments, creating strategic plans that iterate and adjust based on changing business needs.

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $95,400 - $163,900

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
