Test Technician - Lynnwood, WA - Active Secret Clearance Required Technology Systems

Test Technician needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite in Lynnwood, WA.

Contract Length: 6+ Months, possible conversion to FTE

Must have an active Secret clearance to be considered for this role.

Job Description:

• Performs routine go/no-go tests of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
• Sets up test devices using hand tools or automatic test methods.
• Documents test results.
• May perform simple repairs and/or component removal or replacement.
• May maintain logs and records indicating malfunctions. (It should be understood that this is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of any individual employee's job content.
• Managers set the specific duties and responsibilities for each employee.)
• Under limited supervision, performs the set up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
• Performs hand set ups for AC and DC digital tests.
• Recognizes failures and set up problems and determines need for appropriate verification.
• May prepare written reports.
• Receives some instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.
• Uses professional concepts to solve a variety of problems.
• Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is resolving problems and making routine recommendations.
• Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
• Decisions or failure to achieve results may cause delays in schedules.
• Interacts daily with supervisor, peer groups, and customers. Interaction normally involves exchange or presentation of factual information.
• Normally receives no instruction on routine work, little instruction on new assignments.
• Having some knowledge and experience, able to handle usual occurring job events.
• Choice of action requires more than common sense in that some training and experience is needed before knowing what to do under special circumstances.

• High school education or equivalent and 3+ years of related experience.
