In the Global Products Group, we are dedicated to excellence in the design and engineering ofLam's etch and deposition products. We drive innovation to ensure our cutting-edge solutionsare helping to solve the biggest challenges in the semiconductor industry.

We are seeking an Operations Engineer to support Deposition Product Group (DPG) Engineering's efforts towards Engineering Excellence. The main objective is to guide engineers rather than govern them, promoting a collaborative atmosphere. You will be responsible for shaping the business processes and systems that a skilled workforce uses to design and release new products.

You will work towards continuous improvement in business processes and systems across various engineering disciplines within the company. This includes all aspects of the engineering development and release process, from communication tools to engineering practices.

A critical thinker who is passionate about continuous improvement and has multi-disciplinary skills in engineering, data analysis, cross-functional teams, program/project management, and software development (database, UI, dashboards, etc.).

An individual with excellent communication skills that is capable of consistently collaborating across organizational boundaries and leadership levels on project teams to achieve consensus with broad engineering impact

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with 5+ years of experience (or equivalent experience)
• Gathering alignment can require several iterations so organization and clear communication is essential.
• Data analysis in Microsoft Excel is a must but demonstrable capability with Microsoft Power Bi is a huge plus. If you can develop front-end applications in SharePoint Online (Power Automate or Power Apps), then you will be a rockstar.
• Experience with engineering design, design tools, and drafting practices will be beneficial when developing standard engineering practices.
• Ability to inspire trust and confidence through effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical and data analysis skills
• Expert in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint Online
• Proven track record of driving business process improvements.
• Experience ideating, consensus building, leading, implementing, and sustaining meaningful business improvement programs
• Experience using or familiarity with engineering design packages like AutoCAD, CREO, NX, or Zuken can be helpful.
• Proven knowledge of how to define, interpret, and update technical standards based upon business needs.
• Demonstrated root cause corrective action skills
• Experience with process automation, product configuration engineering, manufacturing engineering, field service, or logistics/spares would

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
