For more information about the company and product line visit: www.sigsauer.com Position Summary: The HR Systems Specialist will provide administrative support in the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources team. FLSA: Non-Exempt Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process internal changes in HRIS for all locations, including:
- Resignations/terminations.
- Leaves of absence.
- Promotions, transfers, schedule changes, etc.
- Send all changes to Payroll.
- Send out group email correspondence & create IT ticket.
- Prepare employee letters as needed for promotions and transfers.
- Review all internal/external offers with the employee report to ensure accurate department, sub-department, schedule, supervisor, location, etc.
- Send offer sheets and BI Alerts to Payroll after thoroughly reviewing the system and comparing them with the paperwork.
- Collaborate with HRIS team on the implementation of new system projects.
- Manage the tuition reimbursement program and processing.
- Provide backup support for onboarding and processing new hires, temporary associates, and consultants in HRIS across all locations.
- Process purchase orders (POs) for invoices.
- Assist employees with HR-related questions as needed.
- Support Affirmative Action projects.
- Assist with other HR projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of previous Human Resources experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with a strong customer service orientation.
- Demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in fast paced environment with shifting priorities and initiatives.
- UKG experience is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
- Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. Security Mandates.
