Position Summary

The Director of Finance is a member of the business unit's leadership team with responsibility for optimizing performance and achieving financial and strategic goals, in partnership with its respective President. The Director of Finance functions as the internal expert for the business unit's financial management and provides decision making support for continued market growth; brings operational best practices to maximize financial outcomes, provider contracting/billing, and payment issues; identifies opportunities for improvement and leads the execution of financial improvement opportunities to translate financial targets into actionable operating objectives; organizes, analyzes, and presents high value analysis and interpretation of data in support of the business unit's finance and strategic planning functions. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
  • Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Hospital Administration, or related field OR CPA preferred
  • Ten (10) years of experience in finance and/or financial analysis in a complex healthcare environment
  • Five (5) years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
  • Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum requirements

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $131,830.00 - $189,696.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
