Overview

Under general supervision, able to rack, pack, run CNC's, manual machines, and robotic cells. Responsible for manual set ups and

assisting Tech A's with set ups.



Responsibilities

1. Responsible for following all safety rules and reporting any safety violations to supervisor. When able correct the safety

violation immediately.

2. Follow inspection and quality control procedures using a variety of measuring instruments such as CMM, scales, micrometers,

height gages, calipers and gages to ensure quality of work being performed is to customer standards.

3. Responsible for first article inspection assuring compliance with control parameters and specifications. Ability to certify set ups

ensuring job will run safely and efficiently. Set up prototype and first run parts and complete set up instruction sheets.

4. Responsible for making any adjustment to any machine to keep parts within acceptable tolerance, under the supervision of a

Tech A. Ability to troubleshoot Maintenance problems on CNC & conventional equipment. In addition must have ability to

perform maintenance tasks on equipment as described.

5. In the absence of area leader, provide leadership to the associates.

6. Make suggestions and changes to improve methods or procedures, feeds and speeds, new or alternate tooling, etc. Work with

Engineering to assist methods improvements.

7. Ensure timely flow of parts through the machining process by following set procedures and make suggestions for alternate

methods that will improve workflow.

8. Provide training & guidance for other associates.

9. Maintain 6S standards



Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent

combination of education and experience. Work experience in a manufacturing environment desirable.

Skills and Abilities

Ability to read and understand blueprint specifications.

Ability to work effectively with tools and equipment.

Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.

Strong comprehension and analytical abilities

including, but not limited to, material handling equipment, hand tools, measuring equipment, CNC machines, manual milling machines,

punches, drills, saws, computers, and miscellaneous office equipment.
