Senior Recruiter

Location: Hybrid-remote within service states (DE, MD, PA, VA, OH, NC, GA and FL)

What you'll be working on...

Our senior recruiter is responsible for helping shape and execute the organization's recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent. This role sources, recruits, screens, interviews and recommends external and/or internal candidates for all level jobs. May utilize the services of employment agencies. May recruit from colleges, technical schools and job fairs.



  • Sources, recruits, screens, interviews and recommends external and/or internal candidates for all level jobs.
  • Oversees the applicant tracking system, making recommendations on necessary changes.
  • Executes proactive and fluid sourcing strategies based on requisition load including but not limited to: job sites, local and state employment agencies, diversity organizations and educational institutions.
  • Assists with Affirmative Action Plans.
  • Ensures the maintenance of accurate and concise records as required by law.
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with source partners across service territories including vocational & technical schools, colleges, university and community college placement offices.
  • Serves as a talent strategy liaison to the leadership team, providing hiring strategies to ultimate improve retention and bolster succession planning.
  • Develops and conducts training programs for leaders designed to improve interview techniques and reduce turnover.
  • Strategizes recruitment KPIs, generate relevant reporting and create objectives for improvement.
  • Leads recruitment function audits.
  • Provides training and follow up to new team members.


Who you are...



  • At least five years' experience in high volume, high touch recruitment
  • Extensive knowledge of employment policy and procedures and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
  • Demonstrated strong networking and sourcing skills
  • Must have considerable skill in interviewing techniques
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of computer software applications, especially Microsoft Office. Abilities
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Strong work ethic, highly organized and creative individual
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and deliver results under pressure
  • Extremely perceptive person, capable of relating to individuals at all levels.
  • Sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill and the public image.
  • Extensive full life cycle recruiting process background
  • Able to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships.
  • You possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor's degree in business administration or human resources is preferred.

  • Hybrid-remote position with the ability to travel as needed to business meetings, career events, etc.
