Job Description:

Ryan Companies seeks an engaging Community & Workforce Experience Manager for its Atlanta operation. The Community & Workforce Experience Manager is a key role responsible for elevating the day-to-day experience of personnel and craft workers on-site, while building meaningful relationships with local communities and stakeholders. This is a pivotal role in fostering a high-performance, positive, and people-centered culture at one of Ryan Companies' largest commercial construction projects. This individual is charged with designing and executing a site-wide experience strategy that enhances engagement, well-being, and collaboration among Ryan Companies team members and subcontracted personnel. A key focus of this role is managing and activating the Ryan Impact Program at the site level, ensuring alignment with its six core principles: Living Well, Building Worth, Standing Together, Transforming Places, Giving Back, and Thriving Sustainably. This role will require a mix of in-office as well as on-site engagement.

Site Experience Leadership

  • Design and implement a cohesive site experience strategy that reflects Ryan's values and promotes community, pride, and performance across the entire workforce.

  • Coordinate and host inclusive site-wide events, cultural moments, wellness activities, and appreciation efforts for both Ryan and subcontracted teams.

  • Serve as a visible, approachable leader and advocate for team morale, recognition, and inclusion.

Ryan Impact Program Management

  • Serve as the on-site ambassador and coordinator for the Ryan Impact Program.

  • Translate Ryan Impact principles into engaging on-the-ground programs and experiences, customized to the context of the data center campus project.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders (HR, Sustainability, DEI, Marketing, etc.) to localize corporate initiatives into site-specific efforts.

Program Focus Areas

Living Well: Coordinate wellness initiatives (mental, physical, and emotional), on-site resources, and access to health education.

Building Worth: Reinforce a strong safety culture, career development access, and trade partner support programs.

Standing Together: Foster inclusion, equity, and belonging through diverse voices, inclusive activities, and communication strategies.

Transforming Places: Highlight and support project milestones and placemaking opportunities within the campus and nearby communities.

Giving Back: Plan and promote charitable giving campaigns, service days, and local community partnerships.

Thriving Sustainably: Activate sustainability campaigns, green building awareness, and environmentally focused site practices.

Communications & Engagement

  • Develop engaging communication content, signage, and media for site updates, Impact programming, and employee outreach.

  • Collect feedback regularly from trades, staff, and partners to continuously improve the site experience.

Collaboration and Administration

  • Work closely with field leadership, safety teams, project management, and trade partners to align experience and impact efforts with construction schedules and site realities.

  • Manage a calendar of events, vendor relationships, and budget for experience-related programs.

  • Track participation, measure impact, and report program success using both qualitative and quantitative methods.

Eligibility

Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.

Compensation:

The annual base pay is $65,000 to $80,000. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.

Required:

5+ years of experience in employee engagement, event planning, program coordination, or culture-focused roles-preferably in construction, field operations, or large project environments.

Passion for workplace culture, well-being, sustainability, and social impact.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across roles and cultural backgrounds.

Self-starter with excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.

Proficiency in communication platforms, Microsoft Office, and basic design/marketing tools.

Preferred:

Experience working on large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects.

Familiarity with DEI, sustainability, or corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Bilingual or multilingual communication skills (especially Spanish) are a plus.
