Requirements for Dental Hygienist I: * Certificate or diploma from a school of dental hygiene approved by the Department of Professional Regulation. * Current license to practice as a dental hygienist in the State of Illinois. * A valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance is required. * Willing to obtain Public Health Dental Hygienist Certification within 1 year of employment with CUPHD. * The expected starting hourly is $35.00. Full hourly salary for a Class 7 Dental Hygienist I is $35.00 - 37.91 for a 40-hour week.
