Work Schedule:

Onsite - Buffalo, NY Moog, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer in the Industrial Group with the Manufacturing Engineering team. You will provide direct project/program level support to Industrial group products. In addition, you will oversee customer Partnership, Safety, Human Factors and Standardization programs. You will report to the Process Manager and will be located in East Aurora, New York. As Project Engineer, you'll also be responsible for:
  • Developing and owning the (DFM) Design for machining process.
  • Concurrently manage multiple Manufacturing Engineering projects for complex programs
  • Provide necessary cost predictions, technical data and documentation for project metrics.
  • Provide and meet detailed schedules and budgets to assure timely completion in support of sales / revenue growth strategies.
  • Work within a team environment and utilize lean principles to incorporate world class processes into partner/customer.
  • Interact with cross functional teams to support NPI,CPI,VPI projects.
  • Interface with customers, vendors, and peers at customer/partner facilities.
Here are the qualifications you'll need to bring with you:
  • Bachelor's of Science Degree in Engineering or related degree with a minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience; Masters of Science Degree in Engineering or related degree with a minimum of one (1) year relevant work experience; Work requires a deep understanding of the theoretical concepts and principles of an engineering discipline and advanced knowledge of the job area to execute projects.
  • Proven experience coordinating and interfacing with customers and/or suppliers on complex projects or issues.
  • General knowledge in areas of Root Cause / Corrective Action, LEAN, Project Planning, Product line transfer and Data Acquisition and Analysis
  • Ability to work across multiple time zones resulting at times in extended working hours and the need for international travel.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $80,000.00-$120,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
