SEMCO - Storekeeper

You Will:

• Receive, classify, check and tally, store and issue warehoused materials.

• Order and maintain adequate stock levels and proper accounting inventory of materials while keeping the store and surrounding warehousing & yard areas in order.

• Check received material for quantity, perform visual inspection for identity and condition, prepare proper documents and notify appropriate party as necessary.

• Perform broad-based utility functions in an area of the operation with limited supervision as well as to assist in the training of lower classification employees.

• Satisfactorily complete all Operator Qualification Training. Operate material handling equipment such as pallet dollies, handcarts and forklifts. Be able to perform all duties of a Gas Mechanic "C" as required.

You Have:

• Possession of a high school diploma or successful completion of a General Education Development Certificate.

• Must be capable of completing Operator Qualification Program and operations of associated equipment/tools.

• Working knowledge of computers and software is preferred.

• Ability to work independently.

• Ability to deal with the public.

• Possess the necessary physical abilities to perform various job duties.

• Must be able to obtain CDL License if required, possesses a valid driver's license, and be qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of the Company's Safe Driving Policy.

• Possess the necessary physical abilities to perform the various job duties. Must be able to walk at least 10 miles per day in all types of weather conditions. Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, bend, crawl, kneel, walk, climb, push, pull, lift and carry 20-50 lbs., twist, reach above and below shoulder levels, fine finger movements. Must be able to work in climates of extreme cold / extreme heat. Potential exposure to stinging insects / insecticides and possible requirement to be in Respirator Program.
