Position Type: Community Education/Referee Date Posted: 7/8/2025 Location: Minnetonka High School (MHS) Date Available: August/September 2025 Closing Date: open until filled Assignment: 1-3 games per week on Sundays starting September 7, 2025 through October 19, 2025 Expected to attend at least one of the referee trainings available on Aug 6. 9 PM, Aug.10 7 PM, Aug 14 8 PM. Not benefit eligible. Primary Objective of Position: To officiate MCE youth Flag Football games for grades K-8. Job Responsibilities: 1. To referee youth flag football games in a safe and respectful manner. 2. To ensure the proper use and care of the facilities and equipment used. 3. To enforce safety rules and take disciplinary action when necessary. 4. To guide and assist student referees. 5. To handle issues on the field and be the decision maker regarding rules. 6. Other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications: 1. Demonstrated knowledge of the sport of football. 2. Ability to work with groups of students and adults. 3. Ability to communicate effectively with the public. 4. Ability to work under minimal supervision. 5. Experience playing and/or officiating football 6. Must be at least 18 years of age. 7.
