Responsibilities: The Manager, Tooling Operations manages the Specialty Tooling Department to design and fabricate state-of-the art dies for molding wood composite and fiberglass door facings. Responsibilities include partnering with operations to define tooling needs and priorities, managing the people and operation to deliver dies on-time and on-budget, and leading continuous improvement and safety of the operations.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Industrial), or Business. Experience Requirements: 3+ years relevant work experience in Operations Management, especially in tooling and/or machining of large parts. Experienced in management of technicians and technical professionals. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Fundamental and working knowledge of die design, metallurgy, and machining. #LI-BB1 The minimum annual base salary for this position is $105,000+bonus+benefits. Base pay may increase depending on job related specific knowledge, skills and experience. The information is specific to the state of IL and may not be applicable to other areas.
