Treasury Analyst Overview:

Sun Country Airlines is seeking a Treasury Analyst to provide leadership and direction to ensure cash processing, reconciliation and reporting in a timely manner while in compliance with company policy and regulations. This person will review and drive improvements in cash management and the company travel and expense management program. This position is expected to collaborate across units within the company and all levels of personnel.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor cash transactions to ensure that bank account balances to the reports and any unusual items are investigated.
  • Work with Company's various banks to maintain relationships and discuss any possible changes.
  • Analyze and solve problems stemming from payment processes.
  • Prepare daily cash position reporting and identify and evaluate variances.
  • Complete all cash management documentation for new and existing department processes; prepare correspondence and proposals directed to and for cash management.
  • Administer and maintain corporate credit card program.
  • Manage the opening and closing of the credit cards for employees.
  • Resolve any denials and/or fraud situations in an urgent manner.
  • Within Concur, manage monthly statement and related expense report submissions.
  • Assist Director of Treasury Operations in managing daily cash activity between accounts.
  • Responsible for maintaining any wire or ACH templates used within the banking systems.
  • Verify any requested banking changes for new or existing vendors.
  • Participate in month-end close process.
  • Assist with project assignments and financial reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or related field
  • Knowledge of cash management and banking with at least 5 years related experience


Preferred Qualifications



  • Master's degree
  • Working knowledge of airline economics preferred
  • CTP or CCM
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work with all levels of the company
  • Excellent PC skills with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Great Plains and Concur


Compensation:

Pay range: $65,000 - $75,000 USD annually. This is the base compensation hiring range for this role.

Work Environment:

This job primarily operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets. On occasion, this position will be required to operate in the Maintenance Hangar.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
