Job Description

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assist with month end closing processes, maintain the general ledger, generate monthly journal entries and reconcile accounts
  • Reconcile and confirm inter-company transaction balances on a monthly basis and post adjustments as necessary.
  • Review and approve positive pay electronic file transmissions.
  • Review and post payroll runs and related tax filings
  • Manage fixed assets including capitalizations, disposals, monthly depreciation, federal depreciation, and researching appropriate accounting treatment of complex transactions related to fixed assets.
  • Prepare and file taxes and external reporting including but not limited to L&I reporting, B&O taxes, 1099 reporting, property taxes, and census reports.
  • Participate in adhering and auditing SOX requirements.
  • Provide audit support through the generation of timely, accurate schedules and documents.
  • Provide support to Finance clerical staff and assist in resolving issues that arise in these areas with minimal supervision
  • Create and maintain adequate and appropriate procedural documentation.
  • Assist with government, and financial statement audits
  • Ad hoc projects including analysis and interpretation of data, policy and procedure creation and modification, variance and trend analysis, and general department innovation

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • 4 year degree required in Finance/Accounting
  • 2+ Years Accounting in Manufacturing experience required
  • Prior SOX process management experience
  • Experience with ERP Systems
  • Advanced Excel Skills

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $75,000 to $85,000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
