Supervise the maintenance personnel in an assigned area to execute the planned work according to the planner's schedule and to react to unscheduled repairs as needed. Assign work in such a manner as to perform repairs within quality, cost and safe objectives. Investigate and resolve problems. Recommend changes involving equipment and work methods. Provides feedback to area planner and maintenance manager. Lead, supervise, evaluate, and coach personnel to maximize efficiency and the quality of the work performed. Review equipment operations to ensure reliability. Ensure all manufacturing requirements are met. Effectively communicate company and department goals, achievements, problems, solutions, practices, changes, and enforce all company policies, rules, and regulations. Maintain a world-class safe, clean and organized environment. Maintain high ethical standards and integrity. Conduct all operations in a professional and business-like manner. Complete and issue maintenance notifications, orders and project status reports and memos as required. Assist as needed by conducting (teaching) in-house training (safety, operational, quality, maintenance, and orientation) classes for employees.
