Job Overview:
This team of Program Management professionals has overall responsibility for managing all aspects of large-scale assessment programs that require multiple resources and cross-functional integration. Successful Program Managers ensure adherence to contract specifications, schedules, change/risk management protocols, and budgets, and foster close communication and collaboration with clients. Job Responsibilities:
Work with state education department leadership and stakeholders to develop and document project scope, goals, and deliverables, including project dependencies, project plans, budget proposals, communications plans, project scope, project schedule, and milestones. Anticipate risk and develop mitigation strategies across functional teams. Utilize knowledge of system and process dependencies to identify issues, involve appropriate stakeholders in troubleshooting, and implement solutions. Interpret and document software requirements and enhancement requests from clients; capturing configuration specifications and working with software teams to implement accordingly. Performing UAT to ensure client expectations are met. Manage the work of subcontractors/vendors as appropriate. Conduct project post-implementation meetings to identify and document successful and unsuccessful project elements, ensuring the application of lessons learned and sharing best practices. Review and maintain quality standards, ensuring established processes are followed and all decisions are properly documented. Reviewcurrent systems and processes for possible improvements and implement process changes as appropriate, including writing policies and/or procedures and training. Run regular internal and external project meetings, developing and delivering progress reports. Participate in proposal development activities. Assign tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members depending on the complexity of the task and skillset of staff.
What we are often looking for:
Bachelor's degree required Prior experience in the summative, certification, or other high stakes assessment industry is required Experience working directly with senior-level clients, government stakeholders, and educators Experience working in large-scale assessment or SaaS organization preferred PMP certification highly preferred
