This is a hybrid role based out of our HQ office near Portland, Oregon. The expectation is for employees to be in-office 3 days or more per week, depending on business need. This in-office expectation is subject to change at business discretion.
Columbia Brands USA LLC seeks a DTC Retail Solution Architect in Portland, OR and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Responsibilities: Work closely with cross functional CDT teams to ensure delivery of high quality, scalable, flexible, and integrated solutions; Deliver solutions that consider invest/divest, retirement, and consolidation options for all business systems, in alignment with Enterprise Architect's vision and strategy; Develop solution architecture options; Translate business needs into product capabilities and technology driven features; Drive proof of concepts with the help of the functional & delivery teams with OTC; Deliver new software, features, and functionality, including new technologies and processes to support business/IT goals; Manage functional, integration & technical design document creations; Apply IT solution architecture to ensure alignment with enterprise IT blueprints, roadmaps, standards, release management plans, and methods to achieve the OTC roadmap; Work with Enterprise Architect to ensure adherence to the long-term enterprise architectural roadmap; Develop and enforce retail IT solution architecture standards aligned with industry best practices. Ensure solutions conform to compliance standards such as PCI, PII, CCPA, and SOX; Serve in the capacity of technology advisory services for engaging with the business to "solve" business problems using technology; Collaborate with and influence business and IT stakeholders; Engage with product vendors; Participate in detailed technical assessment of current and new vendors; Partner with technology vendors; Drive decisions through collaboration, influence change and resolve conflicts; Drive innovation and best practices for OTC applications including ideation and proof of concepts; and interview, train employees & assign and direct work to external consultants. (5% domestic travel) Requirements include: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related field (foreign equivalent acceptable), plus 96 months experience in job offered or related position. Experience in end-to-end technical solution architecture/development across multiple technology platforms; Experience in retail industry with a focus on building/supporting strategic business capabilities/solutions; and Experience managing a matrixed, global team consisting of internal employees and external partner resources. Experience with the following tools/programs: Microservices and serverless architecture such as Web Apps, API apps, Azure functions, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks; C#, Web API, ASP.NET , xUnit, SQL Server, SQL Data warehouse, Analysis Services.
