Description

Markon is seeking an experienced, results oriented IT Project Manager to join our team in the Bethesda, Maryland area. You will play a critical role in shaping our client's IT enterprise architecture by managing a process for creating technical IT standards.



Responsibilities

    Lead the development and management of IT technical standards, ensuring accuracy and alignment with best practices

  • Drive the IT standards process using technical project management methodologies to deliver high-quality, timely outcomes

  • Promote innovation and continuous improvement across the IT standards function

  • Set a strong example of technical excellence and professionalism

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to update and maintain the IT standards framework

  • Facilitate teamwork and knowledge-sharing across technical and business groups


Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph

  • Bachelor's degree with 12-15 years (or Master's with 10-13 years) of relevant experience, including 3+ years in IT project management

  • Proven experience delivering complex projects as a project manager

Preferred:

  • Experience managing software development teams and working in or with the Intelligence Community (3+ years)
  • Strong understanding of data management and long-term project planning
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Proactive, mission-driven mindset with ability to take initiative and lead
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office tools; confident briefing leadership and peers


Salary Range

USD $160,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
