Valiant is looking for an Electronic Technician Maintenance I to join our team. This position report directly to the Site Manager. The responsibilities include: Maintain the files and records to document and support the maintenance effort. Keep the Site Manager apprised of training devices' status and any ongoing logistics efforts Assist the Site Manager with all logistics functions. Perform MSP inventories as required by Site Manager With Assistance, perform Organizational Maintenance on all site training devices with all applicable safety and maintenance documents. Operate training devices and provide Instructor/Trainee/Inspector assistance in a timely manner. Perform janitorial services on assigned spaces as required. Work any shift and weekends as specified by the Contract for this site. Other duties as assigned. SECURITY REQUIREMENT: Active Secret CERTIFICATIONS: An Information Assurance (IA) certification of CompTIA A+ is required; a Security + is desired. An approved Operating System Certification will be required within 6 months of hire. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English. Demonstrate competence through satisfactory progressive performance as an Electronic Technician. 2+ years of electronics maintenance or graduation from a two-year resident Electronics Technician course at an accredited technical institute or the equivalent. Training or experience equivalency will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the Government. Ability to obtain a US Passport and must have and maintain a valid driver's license. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires mental alertness Physical ability to walk, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time, and to climb two (2) flights of stairs is required. Must be able to lift and carry 75 pounds. Must present a professional appearance in demeanor and dress at all times. Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees. This job involves primarily working outdoors and exposure to the temperatures and elements associated with the region.
