Position Title: Maintenance Manager

Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:

- Plan, direct and coordinate activities concerned with design, construction, modification and maintenance of equipment and machinery

- Manage and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems and boiler systems

- Identify and capture opportunities for improvement in equipment maintainability and reliability

- Direct and assist workers in electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment

- Establish standards and policies for pollution control, installation, modification, quality control, testing, operating procedure, inspection, and maintenance of equipment according to engineering principles and safety regulations.

- Develop the best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality output.

- Coordinate maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery

- Ensure efficient repair schedules and review repair cost estimates

- Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation and records

- Lead and manage a small team, providing guidance and support along with training

- Actively participate in day-to-day tasks and projects

Requirements for Maintenance Manager:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred

- At least 3-5 years of mechanical and electrical experience working in a similar environment

- Good working knowledge and understanding of plant processes and technology

- Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including ammonia, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems

- Demonstrate ability to plan and priorities workload to meet required deadlines and performance standards

- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics

- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills

- Effective interpersonal and written communication skills

- Strong leadership and people skills

- Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in a startup environment

- Adaptability and an initiative-taking approach to problem-solving

- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to team efforts

- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift up to 100lbs
