Description
A Brief Overview The Leasing and Placements Assistant shows and leases apartments to prospective tenants by performing the following duties and completes move-in and move-out process with residents.
What you will do
- Able to discuss size and layout of rooms, available facilities, such as swimming pool and saunas, services available, and terms of lease.
- Completes lease form or agreement and collects rental deposit.
- Compiles listings of available rental apartments.
- Complies with approved referral and placement protocols.
- Assists with continuity of communications between HHR and Na MAC.
- This position requires driving for the Company using either 1) a Company vehicle, at any frequency from Rarely to Constantly; or, 2) a Personal or Rental vehicle to conduct Company business more than 50% of the time to perform work duties.
Qualifications
- High School or technical school Required
- one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred
- Ability to read, and interpret general business policies and manuals, safety procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports and general business correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from residents, prospective tenants, and the general public.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Knowledge of Email, Internet/Intranet, Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software and Database software.
