General Summary
The Associate Data Engineer will support the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data solutions and analytics infrastructure. This role will play a key part in building reliable data models, data pipelines, managing data integration workflows, and supporting machine learning environments to drive data-informed decisions across the organization.
Collaboratecloselywithbusinessusers,dataarchitects,andanalyticsteamstoensurethatdata is accurate, accessible, and optimized for analytics and reporting needs.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
* Support the development and deployment of machine learning models to address businesschallenges,includingforecasting,classification,andprocessoptimization.
* AssistincreatingandmaintainingAPIstoenableseamlessdataintegrationbetween internal systems and databases.
* Contributestothedesignandimplementationofintelligentautomationsolutionsusing Python, low-code tools (power automate), and large language models (LLMs).
* Participateinbuildingautomatedworkflowstostreamlinerepetitivetasksandreduce manual effort across business functions.
* HelpgenerateinsightsandsummariesfrombusinessdatausingLLMsandfoundational ML techniques.
* Engageinexploratorydataanalysisandfeatureengineeringtosupportmodel development and improve performance.
* Learnandworkwithcloud-basedtoolsandservices,suchasMicrosoftAzureMachine Learning, Azure AI Foundry, Azure Data Factory, and related platforms.
* Adhere to the Company's Quality Management System(QMS)as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures. *
* Understandrelevantsecurity,privacyandcomplianceprinciplesandadheretothe regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company. *
* EnsureothermembersofthedepartmentfollowtheQMS,regulations,standards,and procedures. *
* Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications
Minimum education and experience:
* Bachelor'sdegreeincomputerscience,datascienceorrelatedfieldwith1+yearsof experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Additional qualifications:
* Master's degree preferred
* Priorworkexperienceorinternshipsindatascience,dataanalysis,orarelatedareaisa plus.
* ProficiencyinPythonforautomation,APIinteraction,andrapidprototyping.
* Strong SQL skills.
* Familiarity with prompt engineering, basic NLP/Regex techniques, and foundational ML algorithms (regression, classification, clustering, and decision trees).
* Hands-on experience with Generative AI(GenAI)tools.
* ExperiencewithAzureAIStudio,includingconfiguringresources,deployingmodels,and fine-tuning.
* Proactiveapproachtolearningandapplyingnewtechniquesandtoolsinreal-world projects.
* Strongcriticalthinking,problem-solvingmindset,andanalyticalskills.
* Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Proficiency with MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Excellentorganizationalskillswithabilitytoprioritizeassignmentswhilehandlingvarious projects simultaneously
Working Conditions
General office environment. Willingness and ability to work on site. May have business travel from 0% - 10%. Ability to be available for on-call duty during off hours as part of a rotating schedule. Flexibility to switch weekend days off with weekdays when necessary to avoid disruption to 24/7 production environments. Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens. Requires some lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds. Must be able to move between buildings and floors. Must be able to remain stationary and use a computer or other standard office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine, for an extensive period of time each day. Must be able to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets. Must be able to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed. Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees at all levels on a daily basis.
Annual Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $147,058/ year

Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
