Senior Software Engineer Location:Littleton, CO Job ID: #71258 Pay Range: $65-85 Duration: 12 months contract - W2 hourly US citizens only - No C2C The prospective candidate needs to obtain security clearance. The deadline to apply is 08/01/2025 RESPONSIBILITIES: The selected candidate will develop software engineering solutions for Orion's Ground Support Tools software team. The individual must demonstrate the ability to apply logical thinking and creative problem-solving to develop, enhance, or troubleshoot software. Required Skills: * Extensive experience with Big Data * Experience with Apache Hadoop or AWS * Experience with relational databases * Expertise in Java full-stack development * Knowledge of Telemetry systems and processing * Experience with systems integration * Experience with anomaly investigation and resolution * Willingness for off-hours support to ensure lab productivity * Ability to contribute within a team-oriented environment to achieve long-range goals and objectives * Solid written or verbal communication skills Desired Skills: * Knowledgeable in Python * Experience with Agile and DevOps processes * Ability to assist users and lab managers with data analysis Typical Minimums: * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
