Funded by a New Jersey Department of Education grant, Rutgers University is seeking a co-adjunct staff member to lead development specifications and the review process in the creation of online learning modules and training materials designed to support the implementation of research-based early reading instruction in elementary school classrooms

Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
Master's degree or higher
Specialized certification in a structured literacy instructional approach
Three or more years of experience providing online and/or in-person training to educators in research-based reading instructional practices
Two years of experience with instructional design for online learning platforms
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Advanced knowledge of research-based reading instructional practices is required.
Lead development specifications and review process for online training modules supporting research-based reading and writing instruction.
Review, compile, and revise research articles, discussion questions, and activities to be used in communities of practice to accompany the online training modules
Participate in meetings with the Principal Investigator and project team members to plan for development work and report on progress
Facilitate timelines, project resources, and deliverables pertaining to online training module development focused on building foundational knowledge pertaining to components of research-based reading and writing instruction. Participate in meetings with the Rutgers Principal Investigator and project team members to plan for development work and report on progress Develop online training modules to build foundational knowledge pertaining to components of research-based reading and writing instruction
10 % 2. Identify research articles/chapters and develop accompanying discussion questions, as well as activities, to be used in communities of practice to accompany the online training modules
