About this Role - Tool Technician We are looking for a talented Tool Technician that has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for providing daily production support involving timely repair, maintenance, and tracking of all small and major tools for MJE Tool Control. What You'll Do - Evaluate, diagnose, and maintain a wide variety of electrical utility construction tooling including hydraulic, pneumatic, gas, and electric systems - Safely repair and/or replace defective parts and tooling using necessary equipment and tools according to industry standards - Analyze and assist MJE Tool Control in applying knowledge towards utilization and disposal of tools and equipment - Monitor daily and weekly work schedules to ensure timely processing of repair orders - Attend applicable Manufacturers tool repair training courses - Assist in QA/QC review of 3rd party repair vendors - Make sure tools in warehouse are organized and well maintained - Assist Tool Control personnel in searching for tools/equipment to fill stock orders - Arrange shipping of tool related items over the phone and on-line - Perform Warehouse work such as unloading and loading trucks, stocking shelves, operating a Forklift and maintaining inventories as needed - Process and verify annual inventory information - Management of calibration, certification, and other related records - Travel is required What You'll Bring - Strong mechanical skills and the ability to diagnose and repair combustion engines, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Ability to communicate with repair vendors, manufacturers, and product reps - Extensive knowledge of linework tooling - Ability to manage costs associated to tool/equipment repairs - Ability to anticipate and meet internal customer needs - Proven communication, organizational and interpersonal skills - Demonstrated multi-tasking and data entry skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook - High School Diploma or Equivalent (Education beyond High School preferred) - 1-3 years of tool repair history and/or tool inventory management - Valid Driver's License - Forklift Experience Preferred (Not Required, Will Train) What You'll Get - 401(k) with company match (Traditional & Roth) - Paid Holidays and PTO - Medical, Dental, and Vision - Flexible Spending Accounts - Health Savings Account - Accident Insurance - Hospital Indemnity Insurance - Critical Illness Insurance - LifeLock Identity Theft Protection - Employee Discounts - Short-Term & Long-Term Disability For more benefit details click here! |
