Overview

Responsibilities

The Senior Business Systems Analyst will be part of the Operations team located in New York and Chicago that assists with all aspects of the operational process for ICE Clear U.S. (ICUS), the US futures clearing house at ICE. The Senior Business Systems Analyst will focus on the Technology Operations and Systems Analysis aspects of the team's responsibilities. The Senior Business Systems Analyst will:

  • Gather, analyze, harmonize and document requirements for system improvements and bugfixes.
  • Compile the scope of user acceptance testing (UAT) for system releases and organize UAT process.
  • Test the changes before they go in production and provide UAT sign-off for technical changes (or additional resources for business teams to be able to test them).
  • Analyze and document the requirements for Tableau and Business Objects data sources, work with Dev team on implementing and testing them before going live.
  • Develop Tableau reports/dashboards and Tableau Prep flows.
  • Develop Business Objects reports.
  • Streamline and improve existing ICUS business processes and working procedures.
  • Technical support for ICUS business teams.
  • Organization and maintenance of relevant documents on ICUS SharePoint.
  • Partner with Dev teams on developing proof-of-concept solutions to assess the value and help with implementation of the new system features and upgrades to newer versions.
  • Provide operational advisory services to Clearing Members regarding topics such as upcoming enhancements to the ICUS clearing platform.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Computer Science, Finance or Accounting.
  • Must have 5+ years of comparable or relevant work experience.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Excellent knowledge of Data Analytics tools (Tableau or Business Objects) is required.
  • Must have working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Python, VBA and Java.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
  • Must be detail-oriented and apt to working in a controlled yet fast-paced environment, effectively.
  • Able to work both independently and as a part of a broader team.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Experience with listed derivatives (Commodities) clearing and exchanges a plus.
  • Knowledge of financial markets is a plus.

Illinois Base Salary Range

The expected base salary for this role, if located in Illinois, is between $75,000 - 140,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.

New York Base Salary Range

The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $85,000 - 160,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
