Job Summary

Moultrie is a leader in innovative hunting and wildlife products, offering cutting-edge solutions such as Bluetooth-connected and cellular hunting cameras and a powerful hunting app. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Business Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making, improve product operations, and drive business success.

The Business Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing key business and product metrics, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights that enhance decision-making. This role will work cross-functionally with product, operations, software, device, and finance teams to optimize performance, forecast demand, and improve overall business strategy.

Job Responsibilities
  • Analyze large data sets to extract insights, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with product, operations, software, and device teams to assess business needs and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Conduct daily systems analytics reviews to maximize the opportunity for proactive identification of issues or opportunities for improvements.
  • Identify trends and anomalies in carrier behavior, subscription usage, and payment data.
  • Establish an alerting mechanism that quickly brings attention to a potential issue to an established group of stakeholders.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by working with software and device teams to improve data collection processes.
  • Present insights and recommendations to leadership to drive operational efficiencies and business growth.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey data-driven findings.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
