Job Summary
The Operations Project Manager will work with the Product and Software PMs to ensure that the entire lifecycle of new Moultrie products, from concept to launch to decommission are aligned and coordinated with the Supply Chain. You will interface and sometimes lead cross-functional teams across engineering, design, supply chain/manufacturing, demand, finance, customer service, and marketing, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budgets, and high-quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership to drive innovation and achieve impactful results.
Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning:Collaborate with product management, supply chain SMEs, and Suppliers to input to product roadmaps and processes, set development goals, and establish KPIs for new Moultrie products.
- Project Management:Participate and lead from Supply Chain cross-functional teams through product development phases: discovery, concept, prototype, EVT, DVT, PVT, ramp-up, launch, through ECP/PCN change implementation, and product decommission.
- Budget & Schedule Management:Develop and track project budgets, timelines, and milestones, proactively addressing potential delays and risks. Ensure project completion within budget and schedule.
- Risk Management:Identify and mitigate risks throughout development, including technical challenges, supply chain disruptions, and regulatory compliance issues.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:Facilitate communication between teams (engineering, design, marketing, manufacturing, quality assurance) to align product specifications and launch goals.
- Technical Expertise:Use your strong knowledge of consumer electronics to guide informed decision-making across hardware, software, and manufacturing processes.
- Vendor & Supplier Management:Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and contract compliance.
- Post-Launch Support:Monitor product performance post-launch and implement adjustments as needed.
Job Requirements
- Program Management Expertise: Proven experience managing complex projects from initiation to completion using project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of consumer electronics development, including hardware, software, and manufacturing processes.
- Leadership Skills:Ability to lead cross-functional teams, build consensus, and manage stakeholders at all levels.
- Communication Skills:Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to translate technical information to diverse audiences.
- Analytical Skills:Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Relevant Experience:Previous experience in program management within the consumer electronics industry, delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Industry Knowledge:Familiarity with regulatory compliance and industry standards for consumer electronics.
- Education:Bachelor's degree in operations management, engineering, or a related field (Master's or MBA is a plus).
