We're looking for a caring and organized WIC Assistant to support families through the WIC (Women, Infants & Children) program. As the first point of contact, you'll provide friendly service, manage appointments, and help ensure participants receive timely, accurate support.

What You'll Do:

• Greet and assist participants with warmth and professionalism

• Schedule appointments and answer phones

• Collect and verify eligibility information

• Enter and update participant data in the WIC system

• Issue food benefits and explain program details

• Support clinic flow and staff with day-to-day operations

• Follow up on missed appointments and referrals

• Help train new staff and assist other clinics as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately

• Basic computer and data entry skills

• Strong team player with a helpful attitude

Preferred: Bilingual skills are a plus!
