Process Manager - Die Casting Operations

Are you a die casting professional ready to take the next step in your career? Our client is looking for a Process Manager to lead a dynamic team of Process Engineers and Technicians, driving process excellence across our die casting operations.

This is your opportunity to take ownership of critical processes, drive continuous improvement, and help launch cutting-edge programs in a high-performance manufacturing environment.


What You'll Do:


  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Process Engineers and Technicians.



  • Oversee process control for die cast machines-optimize thermal, spray, and injection parameters.



  • Drive improvements in cycle time, scrap rates, process consistency, and equipment uptime.



  • Troubleshoot real-time issues on the floor with hands-on technical guidance.



  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams.



  • Champion new product launches by guiding process development, simulation review, and capability studies.



  • Maintain documentation and compliance with customer specs and internal quality standards.



  • Foster a culture of ownership, teamwork, and accountability.




What You Bring:


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.



  • Must have some industry experience in die casting or high-pressure metal forming.



  • 3+ years in a technical leadership or senior process role.



  • Knowledge of die casting process controls.



  • Skilled in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.



  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Odyssey a plus).



  • Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.




Bonus Points For:


  • NADCA certification in Process Control or Die Casting Technology.



  • Experience with vacuum die casting and automated spray systems.



  • Proficiency in simulation tools like Magma.



  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma training/certification.
