Shift Into High Gear: Class A CDL Yard Driver Needed in Kings Mountain, NC

Are you a skilled Class A CDL Yard Driver looking for high pay and steady hours? Staffmark has an exciting opportunity on the 3rd shift with an industry-leading logistics provider. If you've got a year of switcher experience and want to park your career in the right place, this could be the role for you!

Hours & Pay:

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

(Plus every other Saturday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM)

Pay: $29.50 per hour

Freight: No-touch or light-touch

Equipment: Class A truck and switcher

Job Overview:



  • Shuttle loaded and empty trailers between a nearby plant and a local facility
  • Perform yard movements and assist with trailer placement
  • Light warehouse work as needed
  • Operate safely and efficiently with no-touch or light-touch freight

Qualifications:



  • Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card
  • Minimum 1 year of switcher experience in the past 3 years
  • Registered with FMCSA Clearinghouse
  • Clear MVR and ability to pass all pre-employment screenings
  • No more than 3 combined violations or accidents in the past 3 years
