Requirements

Education



  • High school diploma or GED


Experience



  • 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, logistics, delivery, or a customer service role
  • Experience with shipping methods, customs guidelines, and required forms
  • Forklift, woodworking, foam conversion, or manufacturing experience is a plus



Shipping and Receiving Clerk Main Responsibilities



  • Control and monitor both the incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Coordinate to complete the inventory count process and the packing/calculation of the required truck space.
  • Load trucks for shipping.
  • Monitor the shipping schedule.
  • Communicate with the production team.
  • Inspect and log all incoming goods on the respective receiving ticket.
  • Reject or place all non-conforming products in the receiving hold area for disposition by the purchaser/ops manager.
  • Monitor inventory levels weekly and submit order requests when stock levels are low.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
