What You Need to Know
The Cyber Security Architect is a senior-level role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure enterprise architecture to protect AccentCare's digital assets. This role ensures alignment between security strategies and business objectives, enabling secure innovation across healthcare operations Responsibilities: As a Cyber Security Architect, you will:
- Drive secure GenAI usage across the organization, ensuring compliance with security policies and standards.
- Provide architectural guidance for initiatives such as ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access), data governance, and passwordless authentication.
- Design and maintain enterprise-wide security architecture frameworks aligned with Zero Trust principles and HITRUST standards.
- Lead threat modeling and risk assessments during the design phase using tools such as Microsoft Threat Modeling Tool, OWASP Threat Dragon, or IriusRisk.
- Define and enforce secure coding practices and application security standards across development teams.
- Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and business stakeholders to integrate security into infrastructure, cloud, and application environments.
- Evaluate and recommend security technologies (e.g., SSO, MFA, endpoint protection, GRC platforms) to reduce risk and improve cyber maturity.
- Oversee the implementation of secure configurations, encryption standards (TLS 1.2+), and secret management protocols.
- Support incident response planning, vulnerability remediation, and compliance monitoring.
- Ensure the various projects are delivered within approved target architecture.

Qualifications
Be the Best Cyber Security Architect You Can Be If you meet these qualifications, we would love to meet you:
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with 3+ years in a security architecture role.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, HITRUST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, HITECH).
- Proficiency in cloud security (AWS, Azure), network segmentation, and identity management.
- Experience with tools such as Snyk, Wiz Code, Git Guardian, and Axonius is a plus.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP or equivalent).
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into secure technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
