Position Summary:

Applied Training Solutions, LLC is seeking a qualified Aviation Fuels Coordinator to support refueling logistics and operations during emergency response activities. This role is responsible for coordinating refueling needs and logistics for various aircraft platforms, and for conducting planning efforts with partner agencies and stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient fuel support.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate refueling needs and logistics for various aircraft platforms

* Conduct planning with partner agencies and stakeholders for aviation fuel support

* Ensure proper fuel handling, safety, and regulatory compliance during operations

* Track fuel usage and maintain records for accountability and cost tracking

* Support setup and operation of mobile or fixed fueling points in the field

* Communicate with air crews and logistics personnel regarding fuel availability and needs

* Assist in the procurement and delivery coordination of aviation fuel

* Respond to changes in mission requirements and adapt fuel planning accordingly

* Participate in operational briefings and provide fuel logistics input as needed

Basic Qualifications:

* 3+ years of experience in aviation fuel coordination, refueling logistics, or related role

* Knowledge of aviation fuel types, handling procedures, and safety standards

* Experience coordinating with aviation, logistics, and emergency management teams

* Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills

* Ability to operate in dynamic, high-tempo environments

* Must be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience supporting aviation operations in emergency response settings

* Familiarity with FAA and DoD fueling regulations

* Experience working with fuel vendors, distributors, or logistics contractors

* Background in ICS or EOC operations related to air operations or logistics

* Performance Location: On-site while on assignment (location TBD)

* Travel Required: Yes - up to 100% while on assignment

Working Environment:

The usual work environment is a field, office, or EOC setting depending on assignment. The role may involve outdoor/austere conditions, proximity to aviation operations, and lifting of equipment (generally not exceeding 50 lbs.). Travel regularly includes locations throughout the continental United States and its territories. Duties may involve extended work periods beyond 12 hours per day and operation in varying weather conditions.
