ServiceNow Cybersecurity Risk Management Analyst

Evolver Federal is seeking a ServiceNow Cybersecurity Risk Management Analyst experience to support its Federal client in Springfield, VA in building and maintaining workflows and supporting its business processes using ServiceNow and lead the automation of workflows supporting cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance processes. The Analyst will also support the client in processing FISMA inventory change requests using ServiceNow and identify process improvements to help drive further efficiencies.

The successful candidate will possess general knowledge of cybersecurity and have previous experience developing solutions within the ServiceNow platform including workflows, implementing business rules/ logic, developing scheduled jobs and developing and running scripts.

Responsibilities



  • Applying knowledge of cybersecurity, design and implement workflows, business rules, scheduled Jobs, and scripts.
  • Lead automation of inventory workflows, including ICR processing, reporting, and approvals.
  • Develop and maintain efficient, cost-effective processes using a FISMA Compliance Tool and front-end applications.
  • Provide guidance to developers for updates to authorized platforms and applications.
  • Maintain and enhance the FISMA ICR Portal (ServiceNow), including back-end fixes and feature development.
  • Perform day-to-day upkeep and maintenance of ServiceNow, make necessary modifications, apply fixes to the back-end of the portal.
  • Provide feedback for updates to ServiceNow application content as needed.
  • Process daily Inventory Change Requests (ICRs) received via ServiceNow and maintain the FISMA Inventory Mailbox.
  • Respond to ServiceDesk and direct inquiries related to FISMA Inventory.
  • Create and automate Monthly ICR Reports and include metrics in broader inventory reporting.
  • Identify process improvements to drive efficiencies in reporting processes and identify opportunities for automating reporting processes to improve efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Government.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.



Basic Qualifications



  • 1 year of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of overall related experience in a relevant field
  • 1 year of experience developing solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
  • 1 year of experience with ServiceNow, including working knowledge of ServiceNow modules, SQL, Excel, and tools such as Elastic Stack, Tableau, Power BI, or Splunk.
  • 1 year of experience using scripting and automation in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automating
  • 1 year of experience working to execute NIST 800-37, Risk Management Framework.
  • 1 year of client-engagement experience.
  • Certifications not required, but preferred:


o A security -related certification such as Security +, CISA, Certified Authorization Professional (CAP), or Certified in Governance, Risk and Compliance (CGRC); and/or

o A ServiceNow certification such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) - for custom app development



  • Must have an Active DOD Secret clearance



Preferred Qualifications



  • Possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills, must be able to demonstrate success in applying these skills to the client/ contract workspace.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively via written and verbal communication in both formal and informal situations.
  • Ability to adapt to frequent changes in priorities, follow project schedules, meet established deadlines, and proactively communicate risks and issues to the Contractor PM and/or Federal Leads.
  • Possess good listening skills and the ability to detect explicit and implicit needs and wants of the client.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment, prioritize multiple tasks, and problem solve under pressure of deadlines and resource constraints.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • DHS HQ or Component- level experience preferred.
