Job Description

CEC Entertainment, the global leader in family entertainment and operator of Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper Pizza restaurants, is seeking a Risk Management Administrator to join our dynamic Risk team! This exciting and service-oriented opportunity is based at our Corporate Support Center in Irving, Texas.

Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Meet our Support Center objectives which include... "If you are not serving the Guest, serve someone who is" and "consistently deliver an awesome family friendly experience so that every guest leaves happy."
  • Coordinate the bill paying process for supplier invoices for the Risk Management department. This includes administration of vendor payments, including entering invoices and related information into Workday, as well as coding of invoices to ensure proper accounting.
  • Administer the Certificate of Insurance program.
  • Become proficient in the handling of guest claims including but not limited to injury, discrimination, altercations and food-related illness claims. This includes investigations, interviews of employees and guests, reviewing video footage and evaluation of the claim for possible payment or denial.
  • Obtain Texas adjuster's casualty or multi-line license within 1 year of employment.
  • Manage the daily claim acknowledgement and follow up correspondence related to new Workers' Comp Claims. Assist employees with inquiries regarding their claims.
  • Workers Compensation claims handling: processing Third Party Administrator requests, follow-up with medical providers, and prepare wage statements.
  • Coordinate securing store video footage and follow-up on video requests outside of claim investigation.
  • Process Third Party Administrator requests for General Liability claims.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work closely with team members and across departments at all levels.
  • Strong math skills. Understanding of accounting and bookkeeping preferred.
  • Microsoft Office with intermediate to high proficiency level in Excel.
  • Ability to work well in collaborative team environment

Physical Demands

To perform the duties of this position, the incumbent must have the ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach, and carry, lift, pull, push between 1 - 25 lbs. Incumbent must use a computer, with repetitive movement of both hands. Incumbent must be able to work an 8-hour shift, with frequent overtime. Incumbent must also be available to travel to various locations by airplane or by operating a vehicle.
