Audiologist/HIS - Better Hearing Events Consultant - 100% Travel

Position: Traveling Hearing Instrument Specialist or Audiologist (BHE)
Salary Range: $55,000-$60,000 annually
Commission: Eligible for 8-10% commission based on performance
Travel: 100% travel required (Airfare, Hotel, and Rental Car expenses covered with a company credit card)

Position Summary

At AudioNova, the Traveling Hearing Instrument Specialist or Audiologist (BHE) partners with clinical teams to deliver life-changing hearing care across various locations. This is a unique opportunity for licensed professionals who are passionate about patient outcomes and eager to travel. You'll educate patients, perform diagnostic testing, and recommend personalized hearing solutions that transform lives.

Your Role at AudioNova



  • Conduct thorough lifestyle and hearing assessments to identify individual hearing care needs
  • Educate patients on hearing loss and recommend the most suitable hearing solutions
  • Promote and manage our trial program and flexible financing options
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations, hearing aid fittings, adjustments, and in-office repairs
  • Provide ongoing patient counseling and follow-up care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic patient records
  • Respond to all patient communications within one business day
  • Refer patients to additional medical or educational services when needed
  • Prepare professional hearing test reports and documentation



Additional Responsibilities



  • Build and maintain strong referral networks with local healthcare providers
  • Participate in outreach events and community education
  • Support Patient Care Coordinators and front office operations
  • Understand and manage third-party billing processes
  • Maintain equipment and office cleanliness and functionality
  • Book and manage your travel (air, hotel, rental car) using a company credit card
  • Accurately submit monthly expense reports via Concur
  • Work toward achieving and exceeding location KPIs, including revenue and patient satisfaction



Qualifications



  • Active state license as a Hearing Instrument Specialist or Audiologist in good standing
  • Must meet state-specific CEU and licensure requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience fitting and selling hearing aids preferred
  • Experience using Real Ear Measurements or similar verification tools
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a performance-based, patient-first environment

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and patient management systems

Work Environment



  • 100% travel to retail locations across the U.S.
  • All travel expenses (airfare, hotel, rental car) are fully covered
  • Flexible scheduling based on event locations and business needs
