The facility is transitioning from a fluid dairy plant to a culture plant producing cottage cheese, sour cream and yogurt. - Continuously drive the facility's culture toward a Safety conscious environment. Challenge status quo Safety behaviors, engage in Safety initiatives and attend all Safety related training.
- Drive for and ensure work product remain in or exceed the standards and specifications established by Quality Assurance and Compliance.
- Initiate and drive continuous improvement within the department, operations, and other areas of the facility as part of the team to ensure plant sustainability.
- Engage and support a team environment within the department and across the facility.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safety policies and other policies as outlined by the Company.
- Production Operator will ensure proper specification on product
- Track downtime downstream of filler and other applicable downtime equipment with the area,
- Perform required weight and code checks at correct intervals.
- Clean machine regularly during production, maintain floor cleanliness and complete all required Master Sanitation Schedule items daily,
- Pass on information to incoming shift
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
- Effective verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
- Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary and manually stack and move cases up to 6-8 cases high
- Must be able to work in a wet environment
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
- May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals
