Position Description:

This classification provides vehicle and equipment maintenance for the UES fleet.

Position-Related Responsibilities for Serviceman B:

* Move all sizes of trucks from place to place.

* Fuel vehicles and change and repair tires.

* Perform simple record keeping.

* Change accessories, bulbs, lenses and reflectors.

* Perform minor adjustments and repairs.

* Perform brake inspections and wheel bearing inspections.

* Perform oil changes and lubrications.

* Perform cleanup and similar work necessary for building maintenance and care of equipment.

* Perform assigned work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with Company practices and procedures.

* This position may provide services to affiliates of the Company subject to the UNS Energy Code of Conduct and the related Policies and Procedures.

Position-Related Responsibilities for Serviceman A:

* Must perform all duties of Automotive Serviceman B.

* Operate and test all types of vehicles and equipment (car, pickups, trucks, trenchers, welders, compressors, hole diggers, backhoes, boom, crane trucks, tractors, etc.) and performance of all related functions.

* Perform cleanup and similar work necessary for building maintenance and care of equipment.

* Perform assigned work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with Company practices and procedures.

* This position may provide services to affiliates of the Company subject to the UNS Energy Code of Conduct and the related Policies and Procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Serviceman B:

* Ability to perform preventive maintenance service, electrical and safety equipment inspection and maintenance, fuel vehicles, ice trucks, minor repairs, tune-ups, brake jobs, safety lane inspections and other related functions.

* Ability to drive equipment to and from locations. Possess or be able to obtain a valid Arizona CDL license with necessary endorsements

* Have mechanical aptitude with an interest in learning automotive work.

* Maintain a high level of awareness and responsibility for environmental considerations that impact them, their jobs, and the Company to the level of their knowledge, training, and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Serviceman A:

* Ability to do welding needed for equipment repair and modification.

* Ability to make correct analysis for repairs of all malfunctioning equipment in shop and field.

* Knowledge of hydraulic systems
