Job Summary This role is in the field 90% of the time, including on-call and/or 24/7 response availability. The Maintenance Supervisor supervises a team of residential maintenance technicians in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the physical condition and appearance of residential properties and other Mayroad assets (pool, community center, playgrounds, dog parks, community garden, etc.), including, but not limited to structural, paint, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, HVAC maintenance, diagnostics and repair, pressure washing, cleaning, electrical, etc., depending on assigned core duties. Required Qualifications
- EDUCATION REQUIREMENT - High school graduate or GED; may be offset by experience; Vocational School or Associate's degree helpful
- 3+ years of experience in general residential maintenance in a multi-family residential industry
- HVAC & EPA certification
- Previous supervisory experience prefered
- 2+ years of front-facing customer service experience required
- Proficient with all tools required, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, power tools, saws, drills, hammers, etc.; able to train others in their use.
- Solid computer/phone skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook), RealPage, translator apps, computer-based training, timekeeping, etc.; the employee may be required to use a personal phone for on-the-job communication.
- Ability to use Mobile Work Order app, phone, camera, and e-mails to communicate and confirm work order requirements.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a state and federal background check to obtain access to the installation; ability to pass a 12-panel pre-employment drug test.
