GENERAL FUNCTION

Works with Asset Protection leaders, Internal Audit, IT Security, Finance, Brand Managers, and Operational Retail brands to ensure investigations and business intelligence is compliant, and effectively managed through asset protection, risk assessment, and training. Responsible for the development, training, execution, and management of investigation programs and tactical strategies focused on fraud and/or loss directed against company assets and/or other misconduct involving integrity. Responsible for developing and maintaining extensive networks with Sr. level internal partners, external investigative units of other retail organizations, key law enforcement agencies, custom officials, and internal investigative departments.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Leads the strategies, objectives and goals regarding Investigations across the Asset Protection team. Continually benchmarks with other retail organizations and government agencies for new strategies to improve our processes, procedures and investigation techniques. Is proficient in U.S. Crime Code Laws/Regulations and can interpret as needed.
  • Leadership, management, and professional development of Asset Protection professionals; RMAPs, Sr. RMAPs, Directors, IT Security, field managers and country managers; related investigation case oversight and supervision.
  • Driving for improved efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of investigations and identifying new ways to add significant value through internal and external training.
  • Leads the analysis of investigative data and exception reports in order to prepare strategies, policies, and procedures for Sr. leaders designed to mitigate potential risk to Luxottica. Prepares all briefings for review with Brand Leaders.
  • Designs strategies and methods to effectively leverage opportunities and resources for coordinated efforts to identify, mitigate, and respond to fraud events.
  • Leads all aspects of complex and highly sensitive internal/external fraud/integrity investigations for CSC, Brands, and Facilities.
  • Subject matter expert and advisor for Sr management with respect to fraud threats and safety issues across Luxottica.
  • Proactively supports and coordinates with local, state, and federal anti-fraud groups designed to gather intelligence/information that can be used to help mitigate potential risks to Luxottica.
  • Responsible for investigation and restitution programs and documents retained in the Asset Protection LPMS tool (Loss Prevention Management Systems data-base). Supports Senior Leadership of AP to properly identify and retrain AP associates not in compliance with AP programs.
  • Assists to develop strategies and methods for ORC Investigations and Burglaries. Ensures enforcement, follow-up training to ensure an effective global strategy.
  • Responsible for all Restitution strategies, policies, procedures, and collection of all monies owed to Luxottica.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of Criminal Justice (Crimes Code Procedures/Process)
  • Completion of AMA, CFE, CFI or CPP courses
  • Completion of Reid and/or Wicklander/Zulawski
  • Excellent knowledge of computer application; ex; Excel, Word, Power Point, Access
  • MSI and/or related field /corporate experience (10 years)
  • Supervisory experience (7-10 years)
  • Investigative experience with case closure (10 years)

Pay Range: -170,744.33

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
