Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the processes in maintaining and preserving the efficiency of all equipment, production lines, and/or facilities, resulting in the optimization of technical and financial resources. Each day, you will oversee execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities. You will also showcase your expertise by managing and updating technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities. The work model for the role is: onsite (#Li-Onsite) in Pinetops, NC. The ability to work the second shift is required (3:30pm-12am). This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division. You will be mainly accountable for: Defining maintenance plans for new production lines or facilities, and consulting on ways to improve reliability, maintainability, and safety of equipment and/or facilities. Solving major technical, equipment, or facilities problems to achieve higher performance of the production lines. Proposing improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency. Responding to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruption in the production process. Qualifications for the role: An associate degree in electrical/electronic or related field is preferred or a minimum of 5 years of experience is required (experience in electrical and mechanicalfield working as a technician in an industrial maintenance setting is preferred) Demonstrated experience working on a production line equipment Knowledge in electronic controls is required. A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spokencommunication skills Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
