From your PASSION to ours

The Warehouse Inventory Supervisor oversees the implementation of all S.O.P. procedures, GMP policies, and Quality Control formats. This is a key administrative support role to Warehouse leadership and must demonstrate a thorough understanding of all warehouse operations, departmental functions, and business objectives within the parameters set forth by the parent company. This position is expected to perform all basic warehouse functions such as shipping, receiving, inventory, etc. as part of the key responsibilities.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

* Reports to, and supports, Warehouse management for efficient daily operations and job assignments.

* Understands overall WH functions, processes, and should be able to cover other positions as needed.

  • Actively monitors inventory operations and seeks ways to find cost savings and time efficiencies via process improvements, recommending changes with ROI analysis to support change.
  • Upholds all rules pertaining to confidentiality of information regarding Lactalis products, recipes, and employee information.
  • Champions and enforces all Quality, Food Safety, and Health & Safety programs.
  • Works closely with Quality and Food Safety Team to ensure that quality and product specifications are met
  • Responsible to verify Food safety records of the department.
  • Attends departmental meetings and communicates daily operational information as required.
  • Send daily reports to Management regarding inventory status, flagging potential issues and recommended solutions.
  • Communicates effectively with Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Plant management on an ongoing basis.
  • Contributor to the implementation of ISO 22000 to ensure the sustainability of all Food Safety programs.
  • Propose technical and organizational improvements to line management, providing cost saving and business justifications where needed.
  • Supports both Inventory Team and Floor Supervisors as needed (all shifts).
  • Provides support and mentorship for all Warehouse personnel.
  • Processes daily data entry tasks.
  • Dispositions both Raw material inventory and Finished Goods inventory daily.
  • Reconciles inventory as directed using physical counts and department paperwork using AS400.
  • Participates in customer traceability audits.
  • Participates in solving common or recurring Inventory issues.
  • Safely operates forklifts when required, following all OSHA guidelines.
  • Represents the Warehouse and Warehouse teams throughout the company in a professional manner.
  • Comply with all Lactalis American Group Policies and Procedures.
  • Any other duties as required

Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

Education

* Associate degree in management preferred.

Experience

* Two - Four years supervisory experience required.

* One year recent stand-up forklift operation experience.

* PRISM/AS400 experience preferred.

* Inventory experience required.

Specialized Knowledge

* Proficient in various computer software systems; Microsoft Office, inventory control, cycle counts, and FIFO systems formats.

Professional Certifications

* Current forklift certification

Physical Requirements

* Lift up to 50lbs randomly
