This position is responsible for the ingesting of video content into the PGATE Media Asset Management system. This includes all legacy videotape and file-based content as well as all current daily/weekly incoming content.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working knowledge of Digital Media concepts and applications (Adobe Premiere, Adobe Media Encoder, AVID)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Two years' experience in a Broadcast/Digital Media technical environment preferred

  • Experience with ingesting video into a Media Asset Management system preferred

  • General understanding of Broadcast signals and Waveform/Vectorscope usage

  • Flexible work schedule required, may include nights and weekends

  • Golf knowledge preferred

  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills

  • Ability to primarily work Wednesday through Sunday with some exceptions

  • Must be willing/able to work nights and weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Responsible for initiating, executing and monitoring the ingest of PGA TOUR media assets into a large-scale Media Asset Management system

  • Quality control of all video/audio signals ingested into the system

  • Assisting in the organization and staging of assets to be ingested

  • Documentation of all asset throughout the process

  • Determine the best quality/process to deal with the different file formats coming in from the field

  • Monitor the VizOne transfers for any issues and work with the Media Asset Manager to help resolve them

  • Help Media Asset Manager train general staff users on specific areas of the MAM

  • Must be willing/able to work a rotating work shift which includes nights and weekends

  • Modify and Enhance existing metadata within the MAM system for a better and consistent archive; This includes researching and adding metadata to historic items
