Summary:

We are actively hiring a full-time Sr. Technical Project Lead to join our team to create something meaningful that will greatly impact people's lives.

As a Sr. Project Lead you will oversee the integration of HL7 data from various EHRs, hospitals, and HIEs into our nationwide Health network. In addition to onboarding projects for HL7 senders, this role specializes in the technical management of key direct customer organizations. The Sr. Project Lead is responsible for the technical health and execution within their assigned portfolio of accounts. This role will work closely with account owners, Implementation Services, Engineering, Product, Enterprise Support, as well as external stakeholders such as hospitals and pharmacy technical teams, project managers, physicians, pharmacists, and CMIOs.

This highly visible, cross-functional role requires strategic collaboration to achieve core business objectives and deliver seamless integrations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in HL7 ADT specifications and demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively engage internal and external stakeholders. This role must handle multiple projects and priorities. Your work will be crucial in enhancing interoperability, improving patient care, and advancing data-sharing capabilities across the healthcare ecosystem.

What You will Do:

* Work with various healthcare entities to integrate product offerings into EHR software.

* Serve as a subject matter expert on HL7 ADT specifications across customer segments ensuring that all technical and business requirements are met during the integration process

* Become a specialist for the technical accounts within your assigned portfolio, working alongside business relationship owners to support and resolve technical escalations

* Explore opportunities to enhance workflows through AI or automation tools (e.g., document summarization, task routing, or data parsing).

* Communicate technical requirements to clients and complete integration testing to ensure high quality integrations.

* Drive organizational best practices, techniques, and standards around technical Implementation tasks, maintain technical documentation resources to reflect up to date requirements

* Execute software configuration changes as scheduled or ad-hoc, updating assigned projects within various project management tools.

* Identify repetitive tasks and partner with team leads to implement scalable automation solutions.

* Act as a technical escalation point for Enterprise Support and Delivery Operations to assist customers with complex customer reported issues

What Success Looks Like...

In 3 months...

* Develop strong familiarity with Bamboo Health's Controlled Substance and Care Coordination solutions as well as their implementation requirements

* Quickly gain a comprehensive understanding of Bamboo Health's HL7 onboarding process and tooling to lead successful integrations of ADT feeds

* Understand the technical nuances of assigned Tier 1 technical accounts to aid in escalated support inquiries and ongoing integration maintenance

* Identify at least one opportunity in your role to pilot or apply AI or automation (e.g., streamlining a task, summarizing data, generating content).

* Assist project management team with the maintenance of existing implementations

In 6 months...

* Absorb responsibility for the technical health and execution of assigned accounts

* Independently manage technical implementation phases of integration projects, ensuring that technical requirements are met and project documentation is accurate

* Provide subject matter expertise to key stakeholders on integrations, ensuring seamless data exchange and the prompt resolution of technical issues

* Contribute to the development and reporting of Technical Services quality metrics

* Contribute to Technical Services process improvement and team documentation

In 12 months...

* Manage complex implementation projects, proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen technical relationships and improve processes leading to quality outcomes

* Drive process improvement changes when necessary

* Participate in cross-functional process discussions within the organization, representing the Technical Services Team's area of expertise

What You Need:

* A mission-driven focus with a passion for spearheading change in complex healthcare environments

* 4+ years of professional experience independently managing healthcare projects involving cross-functional internal and external stakeholders with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

* Proven experience and proficiency with HL7 standards specific to ADTs is required

* A strong understanding of EHR/PMS systems

* Experience with integration engines (such as Mirth) is a plus

* Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues with the use of queries and reading logs

* Comfort using or learning AI-supported tools (e.g., ChatGPT, CoPilot, or role-specific tools) to improve daily workflows.

* A forward-thinking, curious mindset with an openness to experimenting with new technologies.

* Ability to identify trends and suggest improvements in products and processes.

* Excellent customer service skills.

* Exceptional written, oral, and technical communication abilities

* Proven ability to operate in a team environment and work in a matrix organizational environment; Ability to work cross-functionally among numerous stakeholders

* Familiarity with JIRA, Cloud Coach is a plus

* BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of judgment and creativity in designing innovative solutions.

* Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly evolving environments.

* Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment, ensuring high-quality virtual interactions with minimal distractions.

* The ability to travel periodically for work.
